Welcome to the 2025 Southern Beach Scavenger Hunt!

Area Map

Level 1: 5 photo clues that directly lead to the letters (easiest).

Level 2: A map with approximate locations marked to help you find the letters.

Level 3: Solve riddles to find the locations of the letters (most difficult). You will need a pen and paper!

Below you will find all the instructions for completing the hunt.

Firstly, a big thank you to Okines Community House for allowing us to use their grounds.

Important notes before you start the hunt:

• Be careful where you step, this hunt will take you along tracks, ovals, and grassy areas.
  
• Be mindful of other users of the area, particularly at Okines Community House, as we will be operating in shared spaces.
  
• The items are placed in locations that do not require walking through, over, or moving plants, vegetables, or native plants/garden beds.
  
• Please do not go around the back of the Okines Bike Shed, behind the bush toilet, or behind the outdoor kitchen due to safety hazards. You can find the area map HERE.
  

To complete the hunt:

1. Download a set of clues.
   
2. Find the 5 mystery letters.
   
3. Take pictures of your favourite toy at each location (please avoid photos with identifiable people/features).
   
4. Solve the mystery word (Hint: Australian Wildlife).
   
5. Send your photos and the mystery word to [email protected] to go into the draw to win some great prizes.

• The hunt is open from Saturday, September 27 to Sunday, October 5.

We have three levels available, based on feedback from the Sorell scavenger hunt last term:

Prizes:

All valid entries will go into the draw to win the following prizes. Prizes will be drawn on Sunday Oct 5 at approx 6pm with all entries notified of the result. 

• $130 wine and fudge package. Fudge provided by Zumofu Fudge Creations
• $50 Sirens Coffee voucher
• $25 Park Art / Local Artisan Co-Op voucher
• A bunch of ice cream vouchers from Beach Bums
