  • You're invited to a community conversation about two issues that local residents regularly raise: reducing speeding on our streets and increasing the frequency of local bus services.

Join me at Midway Point Hall to share your ideas, concerns and experiences. Whether it's dangerous speeding near your home, road safety, or the need for more reliable and frequent public transport, I want to hear directly from you.

The feedback from this meeting will help shape my advocacy with Council and other levels of government, ensuring we're focusing on the issues that matter most to our community.

I'll also present my plan to advocate to the State Government for more frequent local bus services if elected Mayor.

I believe the best solutions come from working directly with the people who live here. By collaborating and taking action together, we can make our neighbourhoods safer, better connected and even better places to live.

There will also be a free BBQ, so come along, have a chat and be part of the conversation. Everyone is welcome.

  • Meet The Candidate Evening at Orielton Hall

    • Orielton Hall in Orielton TAS , Australia

Please join me on Thursday August 13 at 6pm for a meet the candidate event at Orielton Hall

This is a great opportunity for me to hear your concerns and ideas, and discuss how we can improve our neighbourhoods. What I hear at these conversations will directly inform my policies in the lead up to the October election.

I believe Council priorities should reflect the needs of residents, which is why I will be having thousands of conversations with people across the entire municipality. When residents are approached as experts in their own neighbourhoods, we achieve the best possible outcomes.

With residents working closely with Council, I believe we can make Sorell the most transparent and trusted council in Tasmania and deliver the best possible services for ratepayers.

As part of the campaign, I am holding 11 meet the candidate events across the municipality and online before the election in October. These conversations will ensure I am representing the needs of our entire community.
