- Formally request the Minister for Health designate Sorell as a priority location for a TassieDoc clinic and preparing an evidence-based advocacy submission highlighting:
- Population growth projections.
- Existing GP shortages and appointment availability.
- Health service demand.
- Community need for affordable healthcare.
- Working alongside local medical practices, Primary Health Tasmania and community organisations to demonstrate support.
- Identifying potential locations that could accommodate a TassieDoc clinic.
- Advocating through local Members of Parliament and relevant government agencies.
- Including improved access to primary healthcare as a priority in Council's advocacy strategy.
